Passion
Passion reflects the inspiration that fuels Future of Africa and the motivation that drives all of our efforts. It describes our intrinsic connection to and emotional investment in the cause, as well as our fundamental dedication to the overarching goal of working to create a better world. The reality of the barriers faced by children and youth in many African countries evokes this passion and inspires a shared aspiration to make an impact and a difference. We strongly believe that our passion and our ability to exercise it are foundational in our capacity to act for change in Africa.
Vision
Vision describes our utmost confidence in the potential for change, and this is a guiding force at the forefront of our work to ensure that Future of Africa continues to move in a positive and forward-thinking direction. We adamantly believe that the condition of Africa is not stagnant, but rather, that it is dynamic in its growth and development. Through our vision, we can conceive of an Africa in which the future generation experiences a better position and greater opportunities as a result of the work of Future of Africa is doing today.
Ambition
Ambition expresses our value of taking action in order to move beyond simply thinking about and discussing the prevalent issues and truly working toward change. Our ambition to create and achieve our goals is an essential source of encouragement and motivation, and we believe in the power of leading through our actions as a means of inspiring others to live lives of purpose. This ambition also translates to a local level through our initiatives in Africa, for we strongly advocate the value of community empowerment and local ownership, and we firmly believe that ambition is an important factor in encouraging African children and youth to become active agents in achieving their own success.
